When parking in a theme park lot can a motorhome generator be run on a temporary bases, say to grab a bite to eat or take a break from the sun? Thank you

Hi Arthur, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question.

You may certainly park your motorhome in any of the theme park parking lots; you will pay a daily parking fee unless you are going to be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. For safety reasons, Walt Disney World Resort does not allow motorhome generators to be used in parking lots. This list of Rules and Regulations for Vehicles and Recreational Devices is a helpful way to prepare for your visit.

There are many places to cool down and enjoy something to eat within the theme parks, and you are welcome to bring your own food into the parks in a cooler, as long as the cooler is not more than 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high and you don’t bring in glass containers. Free ice water is available upon request at any Quick-Service restaurant location, so be sure to stop in for a cold drink and a break from the heat. If you have any more questions please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
