Hiya, Michael. Thanks for coming by planDisney with your parking question!
Parking at the
Disneyland Resort is good for the entire day of your visit. Guests are able to leave and return, but should hold on to their parking ticket to show a Cast Member upon their return. If you hold a
Disneyland Magic Key, there are specific parking locations to use to receive the Key's parking benefit or parking discount, and these are only available on days the Magic Key is not blocked out. Also, please know that the Magic Key holder must be in the vehicle at the time of purchase and during re-entry.
Based on the current terms and conditions for my
Believe Magic Key, I've received discounted parking at one lot and later moved to a different parking area later in the day. However, the
Imagine and
Enchant Magic Keys only receive discounted parking at the Toy Story Parking Area and must park there to utilize that discount.
Michael, if you are not using a Magic Key parking benefit or discount, a Cast Member informed me that if you visit the Disneyland Resort and pay for Standard 1-Day Parking, you may leave the parking area and return later (subject to availability) by showing your parking receipt. However, you must return to the same Parking Area where you initially paid for parking and cannot switch from the
Toy Story Parking Area to the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals Parking Structures. So it is best if you park in the location where you want your car to end up at the end of your visit. Hopefully, that answers your question!
Be sure to check out the Car Locator feature in the
Disneyland Mobile App, as it lets you log the exact location of where you parked. After a long Disney day, it can be a lifesaver! To use the Car Locator, tap the magnifying glass/search icon on the app's home screen and type "Car Locator." Set your car's location, and you're good to go!
Thanks again for cruising by, Michael. Please stop by again with any other questions.
I love helping a fellow Magic Key holder!
See you in the parks,
Melissa
