Hello, Claudia, and welcome to planDisney! It seems like you have an amazing day planned, from the Mickey waffles you may enjoy in the morning to the treat trails you may explore at night, and all the magic in between! Let’s make sure your parking plans are as seamless as your itinerary.
Claudia, I'd say your best option would be to park in the
Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals Parking Structures. There's a walkway from there to the Downtown Disney District. It takes approximately 10 minutes, and you'd be close to the Disneyland Hotel for your breakfast reservation. After, you can catch the Disneyland Monorail (also nearby) for a ride into the park. Keep your receipt for the parking structure – you can use it to re-enter the structure later that same day without having to pay again. This would be helpful for when you return in the afternoon for the Oogie Boogie Bash.
If you prefer, you can park at the Disneyland Hotel for your breakfast, since
Goofy's Kitchen currently offers three hours of complimentary parking. You'd just need to get validation from the restaurant. However, I would move your car to the parking structure or Toy Story Parking Area between the end of your breakfast and the start of your time in Disneyland. If you were to leave your car in the hotel lot, you might end up paying more than if you parked in the other areas due to the maximum daily rate for non-hotel Guests.
Claudia, while you are in Disneyland, I hope you have a chance to enjoy some of the
70th Anniversary offerings. The
70th Celebration Macaron and the Mickey Hat Cookie are as festive as they are tasty. There are also special
MagicBand+ interactions around the park, so bring yours if you have one. "it's a small world" will have added its
new, final verse by the time of your visit, and you'll be able to say hi to the two newest Characters to join the attraction, Miguel and Dante from Coco.
Of course, the spirit of Halloween will take over in the afternoon at the
Oogie Boogie Bash. Claudia, did you know you'll be able to enter California Adventure as early as 3 p.m. with your special event ticket? The fun officially kicks off at 6 p.m., but during this bonus time, you could explore more of the park, grab an early dinner, and more. Of course, if you want to come closer to the event start time, that is perfectly fine, too. If you plan to wear a costume to the event, please read the
costume guidelines to avoid any issues when checking in.
Claudia, your magical day at the Disneyland Resort will be here before we know it, and I am so excited for you. I hope you have the best time at all points of the visit. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Kriss
