Hey there, Taylor!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with a fantastic
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question.
Oh boy! You'll be kicking off 2024 in The Most Magical Place on Earth. Does it get any more exciting than that!? Taylor, I'd be happy to help you prepare for a magical morning.
It sounds like you have a wonder-filled morning planned, starting with a breakfast reservation at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa followed by a day of thrills at Magic Kingdom Park! According to the
Hours & Events Calendar for tomorrow, Magic Kingdom Park opens to the public at 9:00 a.m. and Disney Resort hotel Guests may begin entering the theme park at 8:30 a.m. with the
early theme park entry benefit. Taylor, Guests with dining reservations at Disney Resort hotels may park for the duration of their experience but are not permitted to leave a parked vehicle at the Resort hotel while they enjoy the nearby theme parks. Therefore, I encourage you to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and take the
Resort Monorail to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for your breakfast reservation. (According to the monorail schedule, the Resort Monorail is scheduled to begin running at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow.) I spoke with a friendly Cast Member who informed me that parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center is available about one hour before Magic Kingdom Park opens for early entry, so I'd recommend arriving to park around 7:30 a.m. This way, once your bellies are full, you'll be able to take the Resort Monorail directly over to
Magic Kingdom Park without having to move your vehicle!
Taylor, if you'd prefer, you're welcome to park at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa during your dining experience. You'll just need to move your vehicle to the Transportation and Ticket Center (Magic Kingdom Park parking area) before you head to the theme park. This will ensure you arrive at the restaurant on time but will require some additional time to move your vehicle before heading to Magic Kingdom Park. If you choose this option, perhaps one member of your travel party could move the car while the rest head into the theme park to start your fun-filled day!
I hope you've found these suggestions helpful, Taylor. I wish you a year filled with joy, merriment, and magical Disney vacation memories! Feel free to revisit us at
planDisney with any additional questions you might have. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
