Hi, Tracy! Welcome to planDisney!
Are you ready for your Walt Disney World Resort adventure to begin tomorrow? It's time to get excited!
Tracy, since my family lives in Florida, we always have our car with us when we visit the Walt Disney World Resort. That means the very first ride we take is usually on the parking lot tram. As I write to you, the trams still haven't started operating again for Guests like us, so it's a good thing we're already wearing comfy shoes for the
theme parks!
If you'd like to make your walk a bit shorter, you can
opt for preferred parking, which generally costs an extra $20-$25 per day above the standard rate (note that prices are subject to change). But the really good news is that once you pay for parking, whether you choose preferred or standard, you only pay one time, no matter how many parks you visit that day. It's a big help if you plan to park hop and would like to drive to your next park!
Tracy, just in case Disney decides to ramp up the trams during your vacation, you can always ask a Cast Member at the toll plaza if they expect trams to be running that day. You never know when a little pixie dust will fly when you're at Walt Disney World!
I hope this helps you plan your Disney days, Tracy. Thanks for driving in to see us, and please stop by and see us again anytime you have a question!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
