Hello, Is there any parking lot or drop off area for Magic Kingdom that does not involve the Transportation center or coming from a resort hotel?

    Hi Monique!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It is possible to drop off and pick up Guests at all the Walt Disney World theme parks, without having to park and be charged for parking.  Just drive to the park entrance (as if you were heading for the parking lots) but tell the Cast Member on the gate that you are dropping off/collecting your family or friends. They will direct you to a special drop-off/pick-up zone close to the park entrance, which is within easy walking distance of the entrance.  This applies for Guests visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

For Magic Kingdom Park, all cars (with the exception of the Disney Minnie Van Service) are required to drop off/collect passengers at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where park guests will then take the Ferryboat or the Monorail to the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park.  Disney Minnie Vans will take you to the entrance of the park, and can be ordered by using the Lyft app on your smartphone, where you can see the cost of using this service, and also make your payment.   They accommodate up to 6 Guests, with two child seats if required.  You can plan ahead by looking at the app before you leave home, to see if the Disney Minnie Vans will serve the hotel you are staying in, if you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel.  Just try and make a dummy booking, and if it allows you to do so, you can use the Minnie Van Service.

Also, parking is free to all Guests visiting the water parks - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach - and you would just advise a parking attendant that you are dropping some guests off, and they will show you where to park.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
