Chef Mickey's is something truly special. From the character interactions to the high-energy environment (not to mention the yummy food!), this dining experience is one that you'll surely remember and want to enjoy again and again. In fact, my friend,
Kay, shared that Chef Mickey's is often a first stop for her family on visits to Walt Disney World Resort when we had a chance to talk about some of our
favorite character dining tips!
Tiffany, I'm happy to share that Guests with dining reservations at a resort can enjoy
complimentary self-parking during their meal. When you arrive at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, the security guard will confirm your dining reservation and then provide you with parking directions. It's important to remember that complimentary parking is intended for your dining reservation and not for an extended period of time. Several of my panelist pals have shared that they received three-hour parking passes for their dining reservations at resort hotels.
Parking is also available at the nearby Transportation and Ticket Center if you are visiting the theme parks on the same day. Guests staying at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection and/or select
Annual Passholders can enjoy free standard parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center, while other Guests can purchase daily parking.
If you are staying at another Disney resort, you could also easily use
complimentary resort transportation to travel to your dining reservation. From your resort hotel, you can head to
Magic Kingdom Park and then either take a short walk or the
Walt Disney World Monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort.
