Hey there, Cristina!
The countdown is on to your time at the Happiest Place on Earth! Right about now, I would start humming my favorite Disney tunes while I put the finishing touches on our park plans. I hope you are getting excited and that pixie dust is starting to swirl!
I have some good (and interesting!) news for you. I wasn't sure about the height clearance on the
Disneyland Hotel parking garage, so I spoke with a Cast Member this morning to confirm. Turns out, the parking garage is currently closed for construction through at least early July. Not to worry, though, valet and self-parking are still available, with self-parking located in ground-level, open-air lots! With this update, you won't need to worry about not clearing your roof rack. I was just at the Disneyland Hotel last month with a few planDisney pals who are local to the resort. They used self-parking as well, and the lot was located along the right-hand side of the driveway as you make your way to the main entrance. Very convenient and within easy walking distance to the hotel!
I hope you are able to take advantage of your proximity to the
Disneyland Monorail during your visit! We used it to access the park for
Early Entry one morning, and it was such a treat to be zipped from Downtown Disney straight to Tomorrowland. We all agreed that it was fun, but if we had a specific, strategic plan for heading to certain attractions during Early Entry, it would likely still be more time efficient to arrive early and enter through the Main Entrance Gates right at 7:30 AM. If you do take the Monorail, be sure to ask if you can sit up front or in the back for an extra special view!
Don't forget that you can
Mobile Order meals, treats, and even your morning latte right from your Disneyland app to quick service locations at the Disneyland Hotel and select restaurants within Downtown Disney. As an East Coaster, I am usually up very, very early once I land at Disneyland, and I love ordering my coffee and a pastry at
The Coffee House, ready for pick up right when it opens. I take a stroll around the hotel and try to soak in all the magic while I wait for my friends to wake up. If you're on your way back to the hotel at the end of the day, you can even mobile order a sweet treat for pickup at the
Wonderful World of Sweets. Sharing the Churro Toffee Square is a great way to end a magical day!
Cristina, I hope this has been helpful as you finalize your plans for next week. If you have any questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney. I know you are in for some very special memories. The energy in the parks right now is really joyful, and it's impossible not to "Celebrate Happy" in honor of the
70th Anniversary! Enjoy!
Wishing you magic!
Tara
