Hi Christina,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question about parking at the Walt Disney World Resort!
It looks like you will be arriving in just a few days, I bet you are getting so excited! There are many
benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel and of course staying right in the middle of the Magic is just one of the reasons why I always prefer to stay at a Disney Resort hotel with my family.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort hotel is a fantastic Resort that I have stayed at with my family and can tell you that you are in for a real treat! Two of my family's favorite features at this Resort are
The Big Blue Pool and the
easy breezy access to the Disney Skyliner. I hope you enjoy this Resort as much as we do!
Christina, I am happy to let you know that as a Guest staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you do indeed have
complimentary self-parking! This benefit was brought back earlier this year and has quickly become a fan favorite for Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests. Not only will you have complimentary parking at your Disney Resort hotel, but you will also have complimentary parking when visiting the theme parks. In order to receive your complimentary parking, you will just need to show your Disney Resort hotel identification in the form of your MagicBand/MagicBand+, Key to the World card, or use your
Disney MagicMobile service which is within your
My Disney Experience App.
Christina, if you decide to drive to any of the theme parks, I wanted to let you know about a really neat feature within the My Disney Experience App which can help you locate your vehicle. This feature is called the
Car Locator and is easy and simple to use! Whenever I drive to any theme park, I make sure to use the Car Locator as it is so helpful in navigating me right back to the exact spot that I parked.
I hope this information helps you with your planning! If you have any more questions, please come back and visit us here again at planDisney. We are always excited to help you plan your next Magical adventure.
See Ya Real Soon,
Brenda
