Is there a parking charge at the Disney hotels?

Hi, Joanne! Thanks for stopping by planDisney. You've officially reached single digits until your Walt Disney World Resort vacation starts! How excited are you? I bet you can't wait to pull into a parking space at your Resort hotel and get to the fun!

My family lives just an hour's drive from the magic of Walt Disney World, meaning we always have a car with us. When we head over for a weekend getaway, we love the chance to relax and let Disney transportation whisk us wherever we want to go while our car is safe and secure at the Resort hotel. At this time, Guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels do pay a nightly fee for self-parking. You'll find the current rates on the Parking page on the Walt Disney World website. Valet parking is also available, as are specific areas for Guests with disabilities. But your status as a Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest also means you can park for free at the Theme Parks! That can come in really handy for those early mornings or late nights in the Parks.

Joanne, while you're making your plans, be sure to check out planDisney's Panel Extras page. That's where we've collected a handful of hints, all sorts of suggestions, tons of tips, and innumerable ideas for making your Walt Disney World vacation the best ever!

I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney days, Joanne. Please drive on over to see us again if you have any more questions!

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
