Hiya, John! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like your visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a couple of weeks away. How exciting! Spring is one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is generally mild, the days are getting longer, and EPCOT hosts the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. EPCOT is always looking its best in my opinion at this time of year with the Disney character topiaries, and the beautiful garden displays throughout the park.
To answer your question, John, you can absolutely book
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for different parks for Guests in the same travel party. Guests of Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels can purchase passes up to 7 days in advance of their stay, and Guests staying off property can purchase passes up to 3 days in advance of their park visit. When your booking window opens and you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Passes, you’ll be able to select which guests you’re purchasing them for. You will have to do the two parties in two separate transactions, but it does not take long at all. Alternatively, the Guest joining you later can also make that purchase on their own account as well.
One thing to note, for those of you with Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, your first three selections must be in that park. The Guest with Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Magic Kingdom Park will make their first three selections there. Additionally, since you have Park Hopper tickets, you’ll be able to make Lightning Lane selections at Magic Kingdom Park as soon as you have scanned into your first attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
To park hop, there will be a bus that will take you from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Magic Kingdom Park. Lightning Lane Multi Pass will save you time waiting in line. You can use that time to take advantage of some of the other offerings in both parks!
Also, Disney Parks Blog dropped their
Foodie Guide for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which begins in just two days on March 4, 2026! I recommend having a look at the Outdoor Kitchen menus to see if anything piques your interest!
I hope this answers your question, John. If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at

See you real soon!
