Hi, Christine! Welcome to planDisney.
Visiting
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for a few hours is such a lovely idea. Whether you're wandering the lobby, enjoying the grounds, experiencing the cuisine, or soaking in that classic Victorian elegance, it's a resort that is quintessential Walt Disney World.
Parking at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is limited to Guests with a confirmed dining or resort reservation, so casual exploring usually isn't permitted. Your best bet is to park at the Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC) and take the monorail over. But just a heads-up: off-site Guests do have to pay the daily theme park parking rate there. If you'd prefer a no-cost option, you can park for free at
Disney Springs and take a bus directly to the "Grand Flo." Disney Springs buses run to all Disney Resort hotels throughout the day, making it an easy and budget-friendly way to visit.
Tip: I would definitely recommend snagging a
dining reservation if you can. If you want some elegance, you can't go wrong with
Cítricos or
Narcoossee's. But if you'd like a simpler, yet still classy meal,
Grand Floridian Cafe always does the trick. That way, you can park at the hotel
and enjoy some wonderful food!
