Guests booking a
Disneyland Resort VIP Tour can currently access complimentary valet parking at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Most tours meet at the Grand Californian, making it easy to park and head inside to meet your amazing VIP Guide. All of my previous tours have been organized by incredible VIP Guides. These knowledgeable Cast Members are part of the magic that makes the tours so much fun!
To maximize your time on the VIP Tour, I suggest creating a priority list of attractions and experiences to share with your VIP Guide. For example, Guests traveling with young kids may want to skip some of the attractions with taller
height requirements and spend part of their time in Fantasyland in Disneyland Park. On the other hand, a group of adults may want to focus on thrill attractions. While it helps to come prepared with a "must-do" list, it certainly isn't required. You can show up and chat with your VIP Guide on the types of experiences enjoyed by your group.
My top suggestion is calling
VIP Tour Services to ask about accessing preferred viewing areas for either a parade or a nighttime spectacular. I always choose to watch fireworks if they are being shown that night, as there is nothing better than sitting in a chair with a prime view of the fireworks. Viewing locations can vary, as I have watched them in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, as well as near "it's a small world" on multiple occasions.
Also, theme park tickets aren't typically included with VIP Tours, so make sure you purchase Park Hopper Tickets if you want to visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. I definitely think Park Hoppers are worth it!
Additionally, I usually
mobile order meals on the
Disneyland app during my VIP Tours to avoid "wasting" tour time at a Table Service Restaurant. Instead, I make dinner reservations to enjoy after my VIP Tour is complete and before the nighttime spectaculars begin. I suggest talking with VIP Tour Services ahead of time to review your available options (they might even be able to help you reserve difficult-to-find dining reservations, such as
Blue Bayou Restaurant!).
