Hi David, welcome back to planDisney!
One of the things I love about Walt Disney World Resort is the ambiance and theming of each Disney Resort hotel. I have spent a lot of time at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort enjoying the tropical vibes and perfect views of Cinderella Castle, at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa listening to the pianist play in the lobby, and at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort watching the Monorail zoom through the building.
You are welcome to park your vehicle at the Transportation and Ticket Center without a dining or theme park reservation.
Standard theme park parking is included for registered Guests of Disney Resort hotels and select Annual Passholders. If you do not fall into one of those categories, standard parking is currently $25 per day, and preferred parking is $45-50 per day based on the date of your visit. At the Transportation and Ticket Center, you can board the Resort Monorail and take it to one of the Disney Resort hotels on the
Resort Monorail Loop.
There are many shopping and dining options in each Resort. I recommend stopping by
Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for a DOLE whip. When you’re at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, stop by the
Enchanted Rose for a drink in the elegant Beauty and the Beast-themed lounge. And when you go to Disney’s Contemporary Resort check out
Steakhouse 71, often you can join the walk-up list to grab lunch or dinner.
Of course, those are only my suggestions, but each Resort has so much more to explore. Consider it “research” to determine
which Disney Resort hotel you’d like to stay at next! In fact, planDisney has posted Pocket Guides to
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. These guides allow you to easily scroll through details about the Resorts.
Enjoy exploring the Disney Resorts Collection, David! If you have any more questions, please
