I will be going to the park tomorrow, it's been more than 20 yrs since I last went. I was wondering can I take fresh fruit or veggies into the park?

    Hello, Celia!

Oh boy! You are going to have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day at the Disneyland Resort!

Yes, you may take outside food and drink into the parks of the Disneyland Resort. There are some prohibited items to avoid, such as alcohol, large coolers, loose ice, and glass, except small jars such as for baby food.

For a quiet place with tables, my family has enjoyed using the picnic area near the lost and found outside Disneyland Park. And we find it convenient to have small snacks with us to eat while waiting in lines. Your fresh fruit and veggies might be perfect for that! Locker rentals are available to store your items so you don't need to carry everything around the parks all day.

But don’t spoil your appetite entirely! There are so many delicious treats and meals to enjoy at the Disneyland Resort as well. For a limited time, an amazing array of foods is available as part of the Get Your Ears On - A Mickey and Minnie Celebration. My fellow panelists and I were just discussing how much we enjoyed the warm and delicious Mickey Mouse Celebration Churro with marshmallow crème and cute little Mickey buttons. Mmm! And my favorite limited-time entrée is the Sopes Trio from Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante.

For taking advantage of Disneyland Resort dining options, I recommend using the Disneyland app. You can use the app to make dining reservations or even to order food from select quick service restaurants right from your mobile device.

Have a magical, and delicious time, Celia!
