Hey there, hi there, friend! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.
Oh boy! In just a couple of weeks, you'll be arriving at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, ready to embark on your magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I know you must be getting so excited! The Contemporary is one of my very favorite Disney Resort Hotels. With the incredible, spacious rooms, awesome pools, fantastic dining options, the monorail soaring overhead and through the Resort, and Magic Kingdom right in your front yard, you can have an unforgettable vacation here without ever even leaving your Resort. Of course, you may want to leave the Resort to go play in the parks, so let's chat about it.
If you plan to simply enjoy a fabulous Resort-only stay at the Contemporary, no tickets are needed! The Resort is located within walking distance of Magic Kingdom, but it is not located within the park. Without tickets, you can feel free to enjoy your Resort and take advantage of the many dining and shopping options at all of the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. In fact, when my family and I stay at the Contemporary, when we aren't enjoying our awesome Resort, one of our favorite things to do is hop on the Monorail and visit the other Resorts along the Monorail loop for drinks, snacks, meals, shopping and vibes.
If you do plan on visiting the theme parks, you will need tickets. To purchase tickets, log into your
My Disney Experience account, hover over the Tickets & Parks tab and click "
Buy Theme Park Tickets." Choose your ticket type, select how many days you want to visit the parks and your start date, and bibbidi bobbidi boo! It's magic time!
While you're there, make sure to stop by
Contempo Cafe, right in your Resort, to grab some dessert. The cupcakes are always so cute, and while they do change up the desserts, they usually have some sort of peanut butter pie that is a must-have. Enjoy!
I hope this helps, my friend, and I hope you have the most magical time! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
