For the park tickets with the PLUS option, do the extras need to be used on the same day as the park tickets? For example, if one purchases a 4 day park hopper plus and visits the park for 4 days in a row, can they then on the 5th day visit a waterpark?

Hi Eric! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!

The best part of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is that you can customize your trip to make it exactly what works best for your family. There are multiple levels of resorts that will fit any budget and dining options that cover every type of cuisine. You can decide how many days you want to visit the parks and add on any extras that will make your visit the most magical one possible.

Purchasing a 4-day Park Hopper Plus ticket will allow you four days to visit the parks and an additional four days to visit the water parks or a sports option. You will have an eight-day span to use all your tickets within. Depending on your length of stay, you may be able to fit in more water park fun or even a round or two of miniature golf. You will need to make park reservations for the first theme park you will visit each day. You can do so by logging on to your My Disney Experience account and selecting "Park Reservations".  You will not need to make park reservations when visiting any of the water parks.

With having the Park Hopper Option, you’ll be able to visit multiple theme parks each day of your visit. With bouncing around from park to park, you may want to incorporate a water park day in the middle. This will allow you to relax a bit and cool off depending on the time of year you visit. My family will typically utilize a rest day toward the middle of our trip to hang out at the resort pool and recharge for the rest of our park days.

Currently, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is open and operating. The theming of this water park is great and there are even plenty of food and beverage options to partake in. Check out the Crush ‘n’ Gusher attraction for big kids and adults. It’s one of my favorite water rides there. Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is closed for refurbishment at this time but that may change by the time of your visit. You may have two options to try when you are here.

Eric, it sounds like you have an amazing trip upcoming. I hope it is the most magical one yet!

    See ya real soon!
