Hi Sean,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your vacation planning question. I see that you will be visiting Walt Disney World in April and that is such a lovely time to visit! The weather is usually gorgeous and the spring flowers are in full bloom. This April there is something else besides the weather to be excited about:
TRON Lightcycle / Run opens up April 4 2023 at Magic Kingdom Park! I'm so excited and I bet you are, too.
Now let's get down to business so you can make your theme park reservations. In order to make theme park reservations, you will first need to create a
My Disney Experience account. You will create a profile and a "Friends & Family" list for all Guests in your travel group. After you have completed these two things, you will be ready to
link your reservations and tickets. Follow the prompts for entering your confirmation numbers and then once this is done your tickets, reservations, and other purchases will be viewable in the "My Plans" section. Then you will be all set to make your theme park reservations!
While logged into your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to select the option for making
Theme Park Reservations. Be sure to make theme park reservations for all Guests in your party for every day you plan to visit a theme park. At the time of this writing, all theme parks are available for reservations in April, but the longer you wait the more it will fill up so my advice is to make reservations as soon as possible. If you change your mind about visiting a theme park on a specific day, no worries you always have an opportunity to modify your reservation for another park or day.
One other piece of advice, be sure to download
My Disney Experience App on your mobile device before you go. There are so many neat features on it such as park maps,
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, wait times, and so much more. It is one of the handiest things you can have in the parks with you besides your Mickey ears!
I hope you have a Magical vacation, and please stop by again with all of your Walt Disney World vacation planning questions.
See Ya Real Soon!
Brenda
