Hi Jacqueline!
Traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort as a multigenerational group is truly a magical experience! It’s one of my favorite ways to experience Disney. There’s nothing better than seeing the joy in the grandparent’s eyes as they watch their grandchildren experience all of the fun that’s offered. It’s core
memory-making at its finest. These getaways are the perfect opportunity to create unforgettable memories as you watch the wonder in your children's eyes, share in your parents' joy, and experience the magic together as one big happy family. From enjoying magical dining experiences to conquering attractions together there’s nothing quite like it.
When it comes to planning your park day, the new
Lightning Lane Multipass and Lightning Lane Single Pass offer fantastic ways to ensure that everyone in your group can make the most out of their visit. Since your parents are staying offsite, they'll have the opportunity to purchase and book Lightning Lane experiences starting three days before their Theme Park Day arrival. While this means that you might not always be able to secure the exact same return times or attractions for the whole group, there are still ways to keep the magic going.
You won’t be able to necessarily add them directly to your Lightning Lane experiences. You’ll need to search availability of experiences and try to match them up to your already planned return times. If your initial attempt to match up the Lightning Lane return times doesn't fit perfectly, you can always modify the ones you’ve chosen for your family, based on availability, to make sure everyone can enjoy the experience together. Once you are in the Theme Parks and have used at least one of your Lightning Lane experiences, you can see if there are other experiences available and book those together!
Wishing you and your entire family the most magical time!
~Heather
