Hiya, Beth! Welcome to planDisney!
Your vacation countdown has officially reached 10 days! It won't be long now before you're scanning in at the entrance to a Walt Disney World theme park and your magical holiday begins!
I'm so glad you've already purchased your tickets. It's important to get those plans started as early as you can. But if you need to make a change in your schedule, you can absolutely do that right in your
My Disney Experience account. Before we walk through the process, we'll want to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure the park you're hoping to visit instead has reservations open for that date. The week you're visiting is starting to get pretty busy, so you'll see on the calendar that many dates are shaded in yellow, meaning at least one park has reached capacity - and all parks are unavailable on December 21. Just know that this is a vital step before you try to make changes.
If the dates check out, we can go ahead and change your
Disney Park Pass reservation. First, make sure you're signed in to your My Disney Experience account by clicking on "Sign In or Create Account" near the top
of the Walt Disney World home page. Then, click on the My Disney Experience logo in the menu bar to access the "My Plans" page. Scroll down a bit until you see "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets," and click on "View Details" next to the reservation you want to change. On the next page, locate that reservation again and click on "Modify Reservation." Follow the prompts to select the new date and/or theme park, and you should be good to go! You can hop back over to the "My Plans" page to verify that your new reservation is all squared away.
Beth, have you seen all the
amazing holiday treats on offer at the Walt Disney World Resort this year? It's a good thing our diets don't start until January, because I know I'll be eating all the things in the theme parks!
Thank you so much for stopping by to see your planDisney pals, Beth! I hope you have a magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort and a truly jolly holiday season!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
