    Do you have to have a park ticket to dine at the Downtown Disney area? We want to dine at a couple of places there but dont want to have to use our park ticket day to get in. Cant wait to visit in 2013 also is June or July better to visit? Thank you

    HI Michelle,

    Downtown Disney is a great place to shop, dine, play, or just walk around.  You do not need a park ticket to enter here.  My favorite restaurants are The House of Blues, Paradiso 37, and T-REX.  All have amazing food choices.  You will be surprised to know that you can spend a whole day at Downtown Disney without being bored!  My family loves it there.  I really feel that coming to Walt Disney World in June is usually better than July.  The earlier in June the better before the parks get really crowded.  Usually the weather is slightly cooler in June (although temperatures can still reach 90 degrees in June.)  The afternoon/early evening rain showers are usually shorter in June as well.  I know your vacation next year will be just magical.  Please send me a follow up question if I can assist you in planning your vacation again.
