Hey there, Jared! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
I’m so glad you got a reservation for your favorite restaurant!
EPCOT has some amazing dining options, so whichever one is your favorite, I’m sure it will be delicious. EPCOT may stand for “Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow,” but maybe it should really mean “Eating Perfect Cuisine, Obviously Terrific.”
When it comes to modifying your park plans, double-check that your tickets require a theme park reservation.
Date-based tickets no longer require reservations, which means you can decide which park to explore right up until you activate your ticket at the front gate.
If you are using an Annual Pass, student group tickets, Sports and Convention tickets, Disney Military Salute Ticket, or Florida Resident Discovery Disney Ticket, then you are correct that a theme park reservation is needed. To modify your reservations on the My Disney Experience app, tap the ☰ on the bottom right of your screen and then scroll down to “Future Plans.” Tap the theme park reservation you’d like to change—which will then take you from the app to the Walt Disney World website—and you’ll find a “Modify Reservation” link underneath each one of your theme park reservations.
It’s a slightly different process if you are using the
Walt Disney World website. Hold your cursor over the MyDisney Experience tab on the upper right of your screen to reveal the dropdown menu, and then click on “My Plans.” Scroll to your theme park reservations, click “Manage Reservations,” and then you’ll see the links to modify or cancel.
I checked the
Theme Park Reservation calendar and it looks like all 4 Walt Disney World theme parks have availability during your visit (subject to change, of course). You should have no problem modifying your reservation if that is required!
Jared, be sure to come back with any other Disney vacation questions you may have. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Matt
