Hiya, Christina! Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you for your question.
It's so much fun for me to bring my grandchildren to
Walt Disney World. Even better than taking my own kids when they were little, there's a whole different excitement for me to watch the grandkids experience things I know their mom loved when she was little.
Pricing can be a bit tricky, as
theme park tickets vary both by when you go and how many days of tickets you need. At busier times, tickets are more expensive. If you buy a multiday ticket, the price per day can drop. A good starting point for a one-day, one-park ticket for a child ages 3-9 is about $104 (pricing can change), but that may vary based on the day you go or if you add options like a
park hopper option or
Disney Genie+. If your June dates are set in stone, expect a ticket for a child to start at about $124 as of now.
The current
Florida Resident ticket offer is on a multiday ticket. You can save 30% on a three-day ticket or 40% on a four-day ticket. Because your granddaughter is a minor, she won't need
proof of Florida residency in order to use a Florida resident ticket.
One thing I want to mention, Christina, is that everyone in your party will need a
theme park reservation to enter any of the four main theme parks. As soon as you know your travel plans, go ahead and check the
availability calendar, buy your tickets, and book your reservations.
Happy planning, Christina!
