Howdy, Mike! Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!
Your magical vacation is just around the riverbend! Before you know it, you'll be making your way around Fantasyland, grabbing a Mickey-shaped treat and adventuring in the great wide somewhere! It looks like you've decided to add a little extra time to your vacation and I'd be happy to point you in the right direction.
First of all, Mike, you will not be disappointed in booking one of the beloved
Disneyland Resort Hotels! No matter which you choose, you will be able to make a hotel reservation and enter the hotel without a park ticket for that day. If you'd like to enter the parks on the evening you arrive, you will need to add a day to your current ticket or purchase an additional One Day Ticket.
Mike, subject to availability, you can choose from Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel or Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. All three are fabulous accommodations with plenty to offer to Guests.
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is an elegant, Craftsman-style hotel with luxury at every corner. From the
Tenaya Stone Spa to the
Fountain, Redwood and Mariposa pools, you'll have plenty of ways to stay entertained without even entering the theme parks. If you feel a "rumbly in your tumbly," you can sort through the many
dining offerings to find the perfect fit for your palette! If you have a reservation for
Disney California Adventure Park the next day, you will find easy access right from your accommodation!
Disneyland Hotel is as nostalgic as it gets, honoring the Disney classics. Its sleek design and modern rooms are cozy and spacious and this hotel is located just steps from the
Downtown Disney District. More great pools and restaurants will keep you entertained, but I find that
Goofy's Kitchen is my absolute favorite. I can't miss an opportunity to laugh and dine with Goofy and his pals first thing in the morning before jetting off to a magical day in the parks!
Finally,
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel welcomes you with a beachy theme and seaside-inspired rooms. Guests absolutely love the
Scenic Pool Deck, where the views and California Screamin' Slide offer a one-of-a-kind experience!
My point here is.. there is no wrong answer when it comes to where to stay at the Disneyland Resort! The best part? You'll be just steps away from the theme parks and can hit the ground running the second you wake up! Recently, we've learned of some
excellent benefits to staying at one of these accommodations, which I highly suggest taking advantage of during your visit. There is nothing like a little extra pixie dust to make your memories even stronger!
I hope you have a magical day and a magical stay, Mike!
