If my park ticket is attached to a family members My Experience Account, when I receive my magic bond do I need to link that to her account? How can I link sll ti my own account?

Hello, Jodi welcome to planDisney. Thank you so much for coming to us with your question.

When you are visiting with family it is sure to be a good time. And I’d like to request to be part of a family that orders your MagicBands for you. Seriously though it sounds like this visit is going to be that is talked about for a long time.

When your family member booked their stay at one of the many Disney Resort Collection Hotels you are able to place an order for MagicBand or MagicBand+. When this package of MagicBands arrives it will probably be a momentous occasion. When they ordered the bands each one was connected to a guest. They will also have these guests and any tickets connected to your MagicBand in their “Family and Friends List” via the My Disney Experience App. This section is the key to linking you to your tickets and MagicBand. In the “My Profile” section they will find a tab up top that says “Family and Friends List.” You will want to have them go to the bottom of the list and locate the blue plus symbol with “Add a Guest.” Here you will find 3 methods: find through my connected Guests, I’ll enter their name and age, and scan their linking code. Once you are added make sure you use the “Share My Plans” option as well. They can then head to the “Tickets and Passes” section and use the “Link Tickets & Passes” and tap on your name and presto chango you will see the tickets and MagicBand associated on your My Disney Experience App. If for some odd reason, any of these instructions do not work or are having issues feel free to call for assistance by phone. There will be a specific phone number on that link associated with My Disney Experience and MagicBand.

While you visit be sure to let loose and act like a 6-year-old. This is regular behavior and not frowned upon. Well, at least when I do it I don’t notice anyone frowning. If you have any other questions or need advice please revisit us at planDisney.com.

    Have a magical stay,

    Jeremy A.
