What can we do in park to support grandma, who has fibromyalgia? She does not use wheelchair in regular life, but standing for long times is very difficult for her. Should we rent a scooter? Are there possible accomodations for her?

    Hello Samantha!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week!

Disneyland Resort takes a lot of steps to make sure all guests can enjoy the parks. To make it a bit easier for guests who may need special accommodations, they have created a fabulous resource with their Guests with Disabilities page.

There is great information on renting wheelchairs or Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV or scooters) as well as detailed information on the Disability Access Service Card.

I would suggest heading in to Guest Relations once in the parks and talking to cast member to best decide what would help your specific situation. The cast members are trained to give great information and can provide special maps and accommodations as needed.

Please let me know if you need anything else as you plan this magical visit!

    See you real soon!
