    When does the park start celebrating Halloween

    Hi, Beverly!

    Welcome to planDisney, my fellow Halloween fan. I'm also counting the days to seeing the Halloween spirits take over the Disneyland Resort in an orange-purple-pumpkin-spiced spell! 

    I'm thrilled to share that most of the Halloween fun will start around September 2. This day will bring attraction overlays, unique treats, park decorations, and more. My favorite attraction overlays are Haunted Mansion Holiday, Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark, and the uber-cute Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween. The soundtrack at Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween is incredibly fun! 

    You can also watch Halloween Screams at Disneyland Park on select nights. This show is my favorite fireworks spectacular (or should I say spell-tacular?) at the Disneyland Resort, and I hope you'll love it as much as I do! 

    Finally, you'll also have a FANG-tastic time enjoying the Día de los Muertos festivities at Frontierland and the Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park.
