Welcome to planDisney, Johnny! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today.
Disney's Yacht Club Resort is my favorite
Resort Hotel, and I'm glad to hear that you've got a stay there coming up. With that in mind, I'm happy to let you know what to do with your RV while you're staying there, so let's jump right in!
Space permitting, you will be able to park your RV in the
parking lot at the Yacht Club or
Beach Club, given that you are a registered guest at one of those resorts. When you arrive, security at the gate will confirm your reservation and direct you to the back section of the lot, where there's typically room for oversized vehicles. Those areas are designed to keep longer rigs and tall vehicles out of the regular rows, and in most cases, you'll be able to park there for the duration of your stay.
I have a few friendly tips to make it smooth! Let the security Cast Member know you're arriving with an RV so they can point you to the right section immediately. If you're towing, it's helpful to arrive during daylight so backing in or pulling through is easier. Lots can get busy during peak periods, so availability is always first-come, first-served. If the oversized section is full, you may be directed elsewhere.
I also want to set a few expectations for our stay: this is standard resort parking, there are no hookups, and running a generator isn't permitted in the resort lots. If you're looking to stay in the RV with utilities or want a site designed for RV living, consider booking
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, which offers full hookups and pads sized for larger rigs.
I hope this answers your question, Johnny, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
