The Park rules indicate that no personal folding chairs are allowed. Does this include folding stools that fold to only six inches long and four inches wide?

    Hi, Dawna!

Thanks for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We are happy to help out!

Folding chairs are on the Restricted Personal Item list, so plan to leave your chair at home. Hakuna Matata, No Worries! There are plenty of tables and chairs, park benches, and shady seating areas for you to enjoy during your visit to the theme parks.

There are things you are welcome (and encouraged!) to bring into the theme parks such as sunscreen, water bottles, tote bags, phones and chargers, and umbrellas and rain ponchos. I like to carry a roomy tote bag to toss in all my family's goodies. Bags will be screened at security, but it is a quick process and you will be zipped through in a jiffy!

Enjoy your magical visit to Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
