We would like to be at the park right when it opens at 9am. We are staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations Resort on International drive. If the park opens at 9am, what time should we get to the park to get in line? Thankyou

    Hi Heather.

Being at the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks right when they open can be such an enjoyable treat!
In particular, I'd recommend that you'll want to arrive at Magic Kingdom extra early. Your off-site hotel's transportation will drop you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center, from which point you'll need to board the Express Monorail, Resort Monorail or Ferry boat across to the Magic Kingdom Park gates.

For Magic Kingdom, plan to arrive by shortly past 8am in order to have time to get across or around the Seven Seas Lagoon, process through bag check and the ticket turnstiles. Getting through these checkpoints before 8:45am will allow you to see the fabulous 'Good Morning' rope drop show - an absolute "must-do!" Once through the ticket turnstiles, simply secure a view looking up over the gardens at the Train station. You'll love it!

For the other three theme parks, planning to arrive by 8:30am will be more than sufficient. It's not far to walk from your off-site transportation drop-off location to the main park gates at Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

If you have additional questions about your upcoming visit, please feel free to write me back any time!
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Heather!
