Hi David! That’s a great question! It’s one that we receive quite frequently at planDisney as people go about planning their visits to Mickey and Minnie’s Florida home!
I’m happy to share that
Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort hotels (but not staying at that hotel) are allowed to park at the hotel if they are there for purposes of dining, entertainment, shopping, or recreation!
Occasionally, a guard at the front gate of the resort hotel may ask to see proof of your dining reservation. If that is the case, simply display your dining reservation either on your
My Disney Experience app or show your dining confirmation email that you received when you booked your reservation. Either will be acceptable!
David, before or after your dining reservation be sure to take some time to visit the resort hotel! This is one of my favorite activities to do when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort! My wife and I like to take a walk around the resort to get a sense of whether it’s a resort we’d like to stay at during a future visit. We’ll walk the grounds, look at the pools, and visit the shops! It’s a nice way to get a feel of the resort!
I hope you have a magical visit later this month! Feel free to send any additional questions during your final countdown!
Dreams do come true!
Jonathan
