Can I park at a resort just to go on a run there?

    Welcome to planDisney, Caroline!

Running at The Most Magical Place on Earth is SO MUCH FUN! Some of my planDisney friends and I are going to be participating in the Princess Half Marathon Weekend (Presented by CORKCICLE) in just a handful of days! We love running together and spending time at the theme parks afterward for rides and food! We're especially excited that EPCOT's Festival of the Arts will still be happening during our vacation!

Running at the Disney Resorts is a fun way to see new corners of Disney World! You are welcome to park at a hotel as long as you are a Guest of that Resort, visiting a Guest staying at that hotel, or you have a dining reservation for a restaurant within that Resort. So long as you have one of those qualifications, you are welcome to run your legs off at that Resort!

Check out the Jogging & Running Trails page to see available routes for your magical run, Caroline! I would personally recommend the 1.4-mile trail around Barefoot Bay at Disney's Riviera Resort. You could then enjoy a lovely meal at Topolino's Terrace -- I personally love their breakfast!

If you have additional questions before your trip, we would love to hear from you again at planDisney! We're just a dream away.

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Allyn, Florida

Hello! I am Allyn, your personal planDisney companion! I’ve enjoyed most of my life in the heart of Wyoming but am currently living my fairy tale as a wife, mom, yoga instructor, and fine jewelry designer in central Florida! When I’m not galavanting around the Disney theme parks, you’ll probably find me reading a good book, outside playing with my family, or learning to do something new. I truly believe that dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that magic with you!
