How do you make park reservations after purchasing special ticketed events? I purchased oogie boogie tickets and am unsure how to make park reservations for the day of the event.

Heya Jasmine, and welcome to planDisney! Can you believe we're already more than halfway to Halloween? Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party kicks off next month, which can only mean one thing—it's almost spooky season again! This news certainly has me humming "This is Halloween, this is Halloween..." and craving a pumpkin spice latte!

I have some wicked good news for you regarding your question about making park reservations after purchasing your Oogie Boogie Bash tickets. You'll be happy to know that your ticket already includes a theme park reservation for the day of the event! Just like Sally trying to find Jack, you don't need to worry about an extra step here. It's truly a scream come true! With your valid Oogie Boogie Bash ticket, you can enter Disney California Adventure Park as early as 3:00 PM on the day of the event. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience all the daytime entertainment and happenings before the party officially begins. You can ride your favorite attractions, grab a bite to eat, and soak up the atmosphere before the Halloween festivities take over. And speaking of attractions, don't miss the thrilling transformation of Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark, which is an absolute must-do!

Now, if you're like Jack Skellington and just can't wait for the moon to rise, you can absolutely visit earlier in the day! If you wish to enter Disney California Adventure Park (or Disneyland Park) before 3:00 PM, you would need to purchase a separate theme park ticket for that day. With that ticket, you'd then be able to make a park reservation as you normally would (subject to availability) by visiting the theme park reservations page or through the Disneyland mobile app and choosing your date of arrival. This would allow you to enjoy even more of the magic before the Bash begins!

Then, when night falls and the party officially starts, you'll be treated to a spooktacular experience that's unlike anything else! The Frightfully Fun Parade will make its way through the park, featuring beloved Disney characters and villains in their Halloween finest. Speaking of villains, you won't want to miss the ghoulishly eerie Villains Grove, an immersive and atmospheric walk-through experience that truly captures the spirit of the season. And, of course, the treat trails are spectacular! Last year, I had an up-close and personal encounter with Ernesto de la Cruz from the Disney•Pixar animated film, Coco! I'm pretty sure I still have some candy left over from the event, too—they're that generous! Be sure to keep an eye out for unique character sightings throughout the park, as many rarely seen characters make an appearance during Oogie Boogie Bash.

So, there you have it, Jasmine! No need to shriek with worry about park reservations for your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket! Your entry is already taken care of, leaving you free to focus on perfecting your costume and planning your strategy for those treat trails. Prepare for a frightfully fun evening where the only thing you'll be scared of is running out of time for all the magic!

    Have a ghoulishly good time!
