There are so many convenient ways to access your information for a trip to Walt Disney World Resort from the classic cards,
MagicMobile Passes to the newly released
MagicBand+. There is so much excitement around the new MagicBand+ with all of the benefits that it offers to experience the parks in a whole new way! As we have many options to access the parks, there is also a lot of overlap you may have which comes to your question, can they all be linked to your My Disney Experience account at the same time? Let's get into the answer!
With all of the options you have, as long as everything is appropriately linked to your
My Disney Experience account, you should be able to use them all interchangeably. You should not have to deactivate your card to use your new MagicBand+. The big catch with this is that you have what you want to use for your upcoming vacation appropriately assigned and linked.
You can link new MagicBand+ when you receive it by logging onto your My Disney Experience account and going to the "My MagicBands and Cards" section. If you scroll toward the bottom, you should see everyone in your travel party and the MagicBand they have linked to the account they used last as well as the list of MagicBands or cards they used in the past. If you keep scrolling, you should come to the blue button at the bottom to link a new MagicBand. As long as you have it linked and assigned appropriately, you are all set and ready to go!
As long as you have everything linked appropriately and fully charged, you are set to head into the parks and take advantage of
all that the new MagicBand+ has to offer. Make sure you take some extra time when in
Star Wars: Galaxies Edge to take part in Batuu Bounty Hunters. Say "Hi" to all of the
Disney Fab 50 Character Statues around all 4 parks and watch as your band lights up with the nighttime shows! So many cool ways to interact with the parks around you!
