    Park reservations for park hopper

Hey there, Charles. Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by to chit-chat about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

Charles, park hopping is my absolute way to spend a Disney day. In fact, I've just returned home from a trip to Walt Disney World and enjoyed park hopping once again. Park hopping does look a little bit different with the addition of park pass reservations

Here's how park hopping is currently working:
    • Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option
    • Guests wishing to park hop must make park pass reservation for the initial theme park they'd like to visit each day
    • It is not necessary or even possible to make multiple park pass reservations for one day when park hopping - just that initial one is all you are going to need
    • On the day of, you'll need to scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first. This sort of "activates" your park hopping feature each day
    • Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and lasts until each park closes in the evenings
    • To make park hopping a little bit more convenient for Guests at this time, complimentary park-to-park transportation is currently being provided
So as you can see, park hopping has a few more rules than it did before but it is still so much fun. Just to be clear, even with your park hopper pass you'll only need to make park pass reservations for the first Walt Disney World Theme Park you plan on visiting each day. Then, when it is after 2:00 p.m. you are free to visit any or all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks that you would like.

I like to spend the mornings at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park enjoying some of my favorite attractions until around lunchtime when the parks tend to feel their busiest. Then, typically, I'll head back to the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that I happen to be staying at for an afternoon swim. After I've had my fill of fun in the Florida sun, I like to clean up and head over to EPCOT. Snacking and sipping around The World Showcase is such a fun way to end the day.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion you might have had over park hopping, Charles. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Happy hopping!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
