I am so sorry to hear that you've seemed to hit a major hurdle in your Disneyland Resort visit planning. Unfortunately, the only thing I can really suggest is to contact Costco immediately and see what your options are.
Theme park ticket reservations are required for entry to any of the Disneyland Resort parks and can be made up to 120 days in advance through the Disneyland website or app. Usually, I would tell a Guest that the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar is fluid and to keep checking it multiple times a day to see if anything pops up. I've had luck the day before and morning of a date that was previously unavailable, however, that is a big risk when you are traveling. I am local to the parks, so there's much less risk for me. Your arrival date lines up with the first weekend of the return of nighttime spectaculars, so I will say it's probably less likely that reservations open up between now and then.
I went ahead and just double-checked the Theme Park Ticket Availability Calendar, but it still has unavailable for both ticket types for standard ticket holders. Since I don't have any special Fairy Godmother abilities, I cannot see what type of package you booked. If you are booked at a Good Neighbor hotel, you may look into upgrading to a
Disneyland Resort Hotel. There are rooms available and sometimes theme park ticket reservation availability can differ for Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests. Again, I think it would definitely be worth a call to Costco and perhaps to a Cast Member in
Hotel Reservations to see what your possible options are.
For future reference, as soon as you make a Disneyland Resort vacation package through a third party, you will want to immediately connect your package to your Disneyland account through the Disneyland app or website. Even though your Travel ePackage does not drop into your account until four days before your arrival, you will be able to link your reservation to your account and make your theme park ticket reservations. There should be a link in the email that you can use to link these plans to your account and then you will see a prompt to make your theme park reservations.
Tracy, I know none of what I'm sharing is what you want to hear and I wish I had some of Tinkerbell's fairy dust to make some magic for you. I will be over here hoping that you find some Disney magic that allows you to visit Disneyland Resort as planned!
