How do you make park reservations and include all pass holders that are linked to your account

    Welcome to planDisney, Liane!

I'm so glad you've found your way there –– thanks for dropping by with a question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit.  For me, there's nothing better that a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth when you get to bring a big group of your friends and family along.  How exciting that you'll be bringing a whole group with you during your January visit!

Like you, I'm usually the primary planner for my family.  Kids, parents, siblings, grandparents, it doesn't matter –– it always feels like I'm the Cruise Director when we visit Walt Disney World.  Because of that, I really love how easy it is to make plans for your entire traveling party with the My Disney Experience mobile app.  Whether you're making theme park reservations, selecting a Disney Genie Lightning Lane return time, or booking a table at your favorite restaurant, it's super simple to include everyone in the fun.  Since it sounds like you already have your traveling party linked to your My Disney Experience account, let me walk you through the steps of booking your Disney Park Pass reservations for your whole group:

    1. Open up the My Disney Experience Mobile app and log in using your Disney account credentials.
    2. Tap the "+" sign at the bottom of the screen and select "Make or Modify Reservations".
    3. Tap the blue "Make or Modify Park Reservations" button, again, then select "Book Park Reservation" on the next screen.
    4. Tap the box next to each name you'll be making a reservation for and then select "Continue".
    5. Select the date and the Walt Disney World theme park you plan to visit.
    6. Tap the box to acknowledge the terms and conditions and then hit "Confirm Selections" to finalize your reservations.

And that's all there is to it!  Once you've scheduled your first reservation for the group, you'll be able to repeat these steps to book a Disney Park Pass for another day.  And remember, you'll only need to make a theme park reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day –– if you're planning to Park Hop, you'll be able to do that beginning at 2 PM without making an additional reservation.

After making your park reservations, I also recommend booking a few dining reservations to enjoy throughout your visit.  And I've got some great news –– Walt Disney World recently updated their cancellation policy for dining reservations, giving you even more flexibility to change your plans during your vacation.  Instead of requiring Guests to cancel their dining reservations at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee, you can now cancel a dining reservation up to two hours ahead of time without being charged a penalty.  So if your plans change (or you've just eaten one too many DOLE Whips to even think about dinner), you won't have to worry about a last-minute cancellation fee as long as you cancel two hours or more in advance.

I hope this helped to answer your question, Liane, and I really appreciate you visiting planDisney.  If you need more information or think of new questions as your Walt Disney World Resort visit gets closer, please don't hesitate to stop by again –– we're always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
