Greetings, Ken, and welcome to planDisney!
I am happy to see that you have plans to visit
Walt Disney World Resort, especially during our most magical celebration, the
50th Anniversary!Ken, it appears you have a good grasp of your
My Disney Experience account, and sharing plans on various levels is a common topic. If you can only see
Disney Park Pass reservations from those in your
Family & Friends list, it may be how your family and friends decided to set their permissions for each person connected to their Family & Friends list. In your case, the setting selected by your friends may have been “Only Plans We Share.”
In order to view all plans, the default setting in the
My Disney Experience app needs to be set at “All My Plans.” Your friends, in their Family & Friends list, need to click the "Edit" button next to your name to adjust the sharing setting to "All My Plans." This way, you will be able to see all plans and anyone on that list. As well, anyone 18 years of age and older who is on that list will have access to those plans, including a linked Disney Resort hotel reservation, for which the remaining balance can be paid.
The
My Disney Experience app has many helpful features, such as the
Genie+ service - a nominal set fee, per valid theme park admission, per day to save waiting in lines by affording you the ability to select an arrival window for a Lightning Lane Entrance from 40 attractions throughout all four theme parks. My personal favorite is the
Disney MagicMobile Service which offers many MagicBand features on your mobile device, one of which is your theme park admission. I loved using my Apple Watch to gain access to the theme parks during my last visit!
I hope this information is helpful, Ken, please stop by with any other Disney vacation planning questions.
Best Disney Wishes ~ Jacqueline
