Hi there, Jennifer!
Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for stopping by as you prepare for your bayou adventure next month! I can't believe it's finally time to welcome Tiana and her friends to
Magic Kingdom Park. I've been following the progress on the
Disney Parks Blog for months, and it's exciting that we're
almost there! Let's
dig a little deeper and talk about experiencing this new attraction with your children.
I'm delighted you secured a theme park reservation to attend an Annual Passholder preview for
Tiana's Bayou Adventure. According to
Walt Disney World property rules, Guests must be at least 7 years old to ride attractions unaccompanied. Children under 7 must ride with someone 14 years of age or older. If your little ones don't meet the requirements to float down the bayou by themselves (or even if they do, but you want to ride together), all three of you can likely fit in one row. Years ago, two of my friends and I (three grown adults) fit comfortably in the same row of a Splash Mountain log. From what I can see, the attraction vehicles for Tiana's Bayou Adventure will accommodate the same number of riders as they did for Splash Mountain.
I hope this is helpful, Jennifer, and that you have a fantastic time at your exclusive preview event! My husband suffers from motion sickness, but our two children are thrill seekers, so we often ride attractions as a group of three. In addition to Tiana's Bayou Adventure, a few other rides at Magic Kingdom Park that accommodate a party of three in one row are
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad,
Dumbo the Flying Elephant,
Mad Tea Party,
Haunted Mansion,
Peter Pan's Flight,
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh,
Pirates of the Caribbean,
"it's a small world," The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and
The Barnstormer, so you are welcome to enjoy any of these with your little ones.
Thanks again for writing to us at planDisney! If there's anything else we can do to make this visit or future trips even better, don't hesitate to reach out again. We'd be happy to assist you.
Wishing you magic and memories,
Betsy
