Hi there, Janine, and welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! The countdown to your upcoming adventure is officially on. You’ve heard the news that
theme park reservations are not needed for every theme park ticket type anymore. While theme park reservations are super helpful when planning your days, not needing to make them is great for having more flexibility. Let’s dive right in, shall we?
Theme park reservations are not needed for Guests with date-based theme park tickets. For example, if you have one of the following ticket types, you do not need to take the extra step in making a theme park reservation:
Date-based 1-day ticket
Date-based multi-day ticket
Vacation package with date-based tickets
But if your ticket has no assigned date, like my Walt Disney World Resort
Annual Pass, then you will need to make theme park reservations by logging in to your Disney account. Make sure that your ticket is linked using the
online linking tool, then visit the “Theme Park Reservations” webpage to make your date and theme park selections.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Janine. If you have any other questions while planning your Most Magical vacation,
give us a holler. Any one of the panelists will be more than happy to help you.
Magic always,
LeAndra
