Welcome to planDisney, Elaine!
Thanks for choosing to be our Guest. This is a common question and one I'm more than happy to help you with.
The first thing you'll want to do is create a
My Disney Experience account and download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. It's through your My Disney Experience account that you'll manage and organize your Disney vacation. You'll be able to do things such as make theme park reservations, book dining reservations, utilize the
Disney Genie service, access the
Disney PhotoPass service, and so much more!
Here's a tip: Purchase
Disney Genie+ on the day of your park visit(s). It really helps you maximize your time in the parks.
Since you've already purchased theme park tickets, the next step will be to
link them to your account. Visit the Walt Disney World Resort website and hover over the My Disney Experience logo. Click on “My Plans” and you'll be taken to a page that displays your plans. Next, select “Park Tickets” and it'll allow you to either Select Tickets or Link Tickets. Link your tickets by entering your ID number (you should have received this number via email when you purchased your tickets).
Once you've linked your tickets, you can now visit the
theme park reservations page and click "Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations." You'll then click "Book Park Reservation," select the Guests in your party that you wish you make a reservation for, and click "Continue." You'll then be taken to a page that has a calendar. Select the date you'd like to visit and then select the theme park you'd like to visit. Since availability is limited, you'll want to make these reservations as far in advance as possible. You can always modify them later if you'd like. Also, if you've purchased a multi-day ticket, you'll be required to make a reservation for each member of your party, for each day and park you all plan to visit.
I hope and trust that's clarifying, Elaine! I'm sure you'll have a brilliant time at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Say "hi" to Mickey for me.
Mike
