Hiya Meg,
Welcome to planDisney. Oh boy! Only a few more days and you will be on your way to
The World's Most Magical Celebration. There are so many exciting things waiting for you like the new attraction at EPCOT,
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. You and the Guardians gang will race through space to help save the galaxy, and of course Star-Lord will be happy to supply the rockin' tunes for your adventures. We absolutely love this attraction! While at
EPCOT, don't forget to visit the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This culinary delight is underway until mid November and provides Guests with the opportunity to nibble and sip their way around World Showcase. There are so many delicious food and beverage options available for purchase. My tip - come hungry as you will want to try them all!
First things first though, let's get you inside those theme parks. You will want to make sure you have created a
My Disney Experience account and downloaded the
My Disney Experience mobile app on your smartphone. Using these mouseketools, you will be able to organize and manage your vacation, create theme park and advanced dining reservations, plan out your day and if you have added
Genie+, you will be able to select Lightning Lane choices all from this mobile app.
After purchasing your theme park admission tickets, you will need to make sure they are
linked to your My Disney Experience account by going to the "My Plans" option and looking for the "Link Tickets" display. By entering the ticket confirmation number, you will be able to link the tickets to your account. If you are using the mobile app you will select the "Tickets and Passes" option and then "Link Tickets & Passes", which will then allow you to walk through the steps to either enter the confirmation number or scan the ticket bar code. Once all of these steps are complete, you are ready to make your
theme park reservation. Through your My Disney Experience account or the mobile app, you will be able to select the date and theme park you plan to visit from the available reservations, then review and confirm your selection. Be sure to always make your reservations as early as possible as reservations are limited. Remember, if you have purchased a multi-day ticket option, you will need to make a reservation for each member of your party, for each day and park you all plan to visit.
I hope this helps get you on your way. If you have any difficulties with your reservations you can also contact a
Cast Member at Disney Reservations & Tickets and if I can help with any additional planning questions, please stop back and
see me.
Wishing you a magical vacation!
Margaret
