How do I make park reservations.

    Hello, Anna! Welcome to planDisney,

Park pass reservations are a really important part of a Walt Disney World vacation right now, so I'm glad you've asked. Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at the Walt Disney World Theme Park you'd like to visit each day. To make park pass reservations, you must first purchase your Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets and link them to your MyDisneyExperience account. If you haven't done this already, I also highly encourage you to take a look at the Walt Disney World Theme Park availability calendar to make sure the theme parks that you'd like to visit have availability before buying your tickets. The calendar is broken down into three categories - Guests with theme park tickets only, Guests with a resort stay and Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. Be sure you are viewing the calendar that most pertains to you. Once you've done all of that, then you can visit the park pass reservations website that I've linked here for you. You'll be prompted to log in to your MyDisneyExperience account. From there, you'll select your travel party, a date on the calendar and then the theme park you'd like to visit. If all goes well and there is availability, you'll be taken to a confirmation page and then have the option to make another selection for a different day. You'll need to do this for each day you'd like to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. After all of your selections are made, you should be able to view all of your park pass reservations over on your MyDisneyExperience account.

I did want to mention, Anna, that if you have a park hopper ticket (where you can visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day) that you still do need to make a park pass reservation for the initial theme park you'd like to visit each day. Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and once you've scanned in and entered the theme park with the park pass reservations and it is time, you are able to visit any other theme parks you'd like for the day.

I hope this helps, Anna. If you have any other questions about park pass reservations or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help. Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
