    Can you make a park reservation without a ticket and purchase a ticket closer to the time our trip is or do you have to have a ticket first?

    Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by, and we are honored to answer your question and help you plan an upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! Our goal is to help you get ready to have the most MAGICAL time ever!

    This is a really great question! I want to let you know that when you purchase Disneyland Theme Park Tickets through the Disneyland Resort website, you actually buy your tickets and make your Disneyland Theme Park reservations at the same time. You are not allowed to make a Disneyland Theme Park Reservation without purchasing tickets. The GREAT thing is that this process is really SIMPLE to do, AND you are going to love the ease of confirming your reservations before you purchase your tickets. NOTE: Disneyland Theme Park Tickets will expire in 2023. If, for some reason, your vacation plans did have to change, you would be able to cancel your reservations and use your tickets for other dates.
