If you have a park reservation for one park because it was the only thing available at the time and then both parks become available for the same date, is there a way of changing it without canceling the one park first

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Maricela!

I’m happy to hear that you are planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort, did you know that this destination will be at the heart of the Disney100 celebration of the history of The Walt Disney Company? How very exciting!

Maricela, at this time, in order to change your existing Disneyland Resort – Theme Park Reservation, please double-check theme park reservation availability via the Disneyland Resort Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, cancel your existing theme park reservation and then book the available theme park.

If you have a Disneyland Resort theme park ticket that includes the Park Hopper option, you will only have to make a Theme Park Reservation for the first theme park, and then after you have visited the first theme park, at 1:00 PM or later, you will be able to visit the second theme park without a Theme Park Reservation and even go between both theme parks until the parks close, pending availability.

    Tip:
Be sure to download the Disneyland Mobile App to manage your plans before and during your visit, where you will also enjoy many features that will add convenience to your visit.

I hope this information serves you well, Maricela, and I wish you a most magical and memorable visit to the Disneyland Resort!

    Best Disney Wishes!
    Jacqueline
