Holiday Season - great job planning!
The
Park Pass Reservation system is a great tool for Cast Members to help them manage attendance at the four magical Theme Parks. Madelene, what you are describing is how things would typically play out. There are only rare occasions when a Theme Park reaches attendance capacity, and in those situations, Guests with Park Pass Reservations are typically given priority to enter. In the past, this has taken the form of Park Hopping being restricted at a specific park meaning that Guests
without a valid Park Pass Reservation would not be permitted to enter that park. The bottom line is if you know you want, or need (i.e., for a dining reservation), to be in a certain park on a certain day, that's the park you should reserve.
The great news is that the Park Pass Reservation system is designed so unexpected situations where a park reaches capacity don't occur as frequently. That being said, ensuring that Guests have an enjoyable and safe experience is always the priority. For this reason, be sure to obey any instructions from Cast Members as they work to provide everyone with a magical experience! Also, if you are concerned about whether you will be able to return to a specific Theme Park, it's always a good idea to chat with a Cast Member before you exit that park. They usually have a good idea of what's going on each day and might be able to provide additional clarity.
I hope this information is helpful as you continue your planning journey. You can
stop by any time with additional questions! Also, as you make your magical plans, be sure to include the newest thrill at Magic Kingdom Park –
