Hey Howdy Hey Hieu and welcome to planDisney!
I am so excited to hear your big trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is coming up real soon! While I bet you are in the final preparations for your trip, thank you for stopping by with your question about tickets and entrance to the parks. Let's review a few options and set you up for entering the parks.
Most often, when you purchase theme park tickets, you can link them to your
My Disney Experience account to have them virtually connected which is super easy. On your My Disney Experience home page, you should see an icon in the middle of your screen labeled "Park Tickets". If you have them linked already this will be highlighted in blue, if not, hover over it until you see a button "Link Tickets". Click on that one and follow the prompts. Onto step two!
If your family members have a My Disney Experience account, as you link your tickets, you will be able to select their names to link the tickets to. If not, don't worry, you can add them later. After you have your tickets linked, you can check by scrolling to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. Click on the heading "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" and you should see your tickets. If your family does not have a My Disney Experience account already, let's go over how to add them to your plans.
Hover over the My Disney Experience icon and click on the "My Family & Friends" section. Once there, look for a blue link to "Add Guest". You should be given a few options to search for and connect to other accounts but also at the bottom you should be given a link to add a Guest without an account. Click on that link to set them up.
Next, go back to the main section to view the "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" as noted above. You should be given an option to "Reassign Tickets" to the correct family member. As long as these steps work out, they now have linked theme park tickets. One more step!
To enter the parks, you need to create a
Disney MagicMobile pass that you will have access to on your smartphone, which is free to set up. On your My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the 3 horizontal lines at the bottom. Select the tile for "Disney MagicMobile". From there, you should be given the option to set up the pass for each of the accounts you are in charge of, your families included. after you set them up, they will be saved to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, whichever one you have set up. Once you have them set up you should be all set! You will have to have this when entering the parks to scan for each of your family members.
I know there are a lot of steps, but overall they should be easy to work through. If you are still having issues you can always give Disney a call to help sort them out. You can even stop at any Guest Services area to have a Cast Member help you out once you are onsite as well either at a Disney Resort Hotel or before entering the parks.
I hope you and your family have a Magical time with your upcoming trip. Feel free to stop back if you have any further questions.
Have a Magical day,
Nick
