Hi there, John. Welcome to planDisney! It's always nice to make a new friend.
I was in your situation a few months ago and due to some unfortunate circumstances, I had to postpone my trip out to the
Disneyland Resort. And guess what? I
just got back from my delayed trip and it was wonderful! Seeing the resort during
the holidays is always a pleasure, especially at
Disneyland Park. But no matter when you're able to go, it's always a memorable experience!
Tickets to the theme parks at the resort are nonrefundable and nontransferable, but you are usually able to apply the amount you paid for your current theme park ticket to a new ticket purchase. To do so, you'd have to
call a friendly and helpful Cast Member at the resort. Just note that if your new dates are more expensive, you will be responsible for the difference and if your new dates are less expensive, you will not receive a refund for the difference.
Once you've got your dates and tickets all settled, it's time to think about
where you're going to eat,
what entertainment you're going to enjoy, and
what attractions you're going to experience. My favorite ride at the resort is probably the classic
Matterhorn Bobsleds. It's always fun to race around this mountain in the middle of Disneyland Park. As for restaurants, you just can't go wrong with
Blue Bayou Restaurant. Just being able to dine near the
Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, watching the boats go by, is such a thrill. And it
definitely does not hurt that the food is delicious as well!
John, I wish you the best with rescheduling your trip.
Please reach out again if you have any other questions.
Disneyland is a work of love,
Matt
