Hi! If I make a park reservation at Magic Kingdom for the day will that allow me entry to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party? Or do I have to purchase a separate ticket to the party? Thanks!

    Hi Emily!

I'm so excited to see that you are planning a fall vacation to Walt Disney World Resort because autumn is one of my favorite times of the year to enjoy the "Most Magical Place on Earth!" You'll find seasonal magic at the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs all year long, but to me, there's something extra special about visiting during the fall. I love the beautiful autumn decorations and I can't get enough of the tasty pumpkin spice treats throughout the resort!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite special events at Walt Disney World Resort and I'm thrilled to see that it's returning this year for Guests to enjoy. This event requires a special ticket, which gives Guests exclusive access to the party's tricks and treats. While theme park hours haven't yet been released for party dates, generally Magic Kingdom closes to Guests with standard theme park tickets before the start of the party and only Guests with party tickets can enjoy the party's offerings. So, unfortunately, you will not be able to experience the party with a standard theme park ticket and theme park reservation and if you would like to enjoy the magic of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, then you will need to purchase a party ticket.

Keep in mind that if you do choose to purchase tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you can enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4:00 p.m. with your party ticket. When my family enjoys the party, we like to start our morning by exploring our Disney Resort hotel and we plan on arriving at Magic Kingdom just after 4:00 p.m. This allows us to skip a theme park ticket for that day because our party ticket is all the admission we need!

Come back to see us if you have additional questions as your trip approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
