I have a park reservation for Magic Kingdom coming up on October 1st. We are very excited to celebrate Disney World's 50th birthday that day! Is there any chance that if we leave the park and try to come back in we will be denied entry due to capacity?

Hello, Alisande! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad you decided to come back for another visit with us!

Alisande, I'm planning to be at the Magic Kingdom Park for the big 50th Anniversary, too! I must say, the Walt Disney World Resort looks great for her half-century birthday, don't you think? I can't wait to see what's in store during The World's Most Magical Celebration!

The Disney Park Pass reservation system is Disney's way of helping to manage attendance in the theme parks. Only a certain number of reservations can be made each day, and when that number is reached, there are no more reservations available. What that means for you is that your reservation is already counted in that number, so you'll be able to enter the park at any time during the day. Guests who want to hop from other parks may be unable to do so, but having a Disney Park Pass reservation is your all-day ticket to the magic. So take that midday break and rest up for the nighttime festivities!

And what a night it's going to be, with the debut of Disney Enchantment, the brand new nightly spectacular that will light up the skies - and some of the buildings! - of the Magic Kingdom Park. I'm so looking forward to experiencing it for the very first time!

I hope this helps you plan your magical day in celebration of the Walt Disney World Resort, Alisande. Oh, and if you happen to see me, be sure to say hi! I'm always happy to make new Disney friends!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
